Simply speak your intentions to the bill by being guided by your intuition. If this is your first time and you're unsure of your ancestors, I recommend writing on the dollar a prayer letting your ancestors know it is for them, an example of the prayer would be psalms 23 or writing your own such as (example) :

Once your intention is clear, you will set a bill on fire in a fire-proof container such as a cauldron and drop the bill in. You can give them as many bills as you'd like. An indicator that the ancestors are receiving the money is the beautiful green flame that the fire begins to have. Seeing a green flame within the fire means the ancestors are receiving the money, and that your offering is accepted! This could take a bit of veneration so do not give up, consistency is key! How to Smudge Palo Santo:

• Be clear on your intentions with the Palo Santo stick.
• Take your stick and light it on fire and allow it to burn for 15 seconds to a minute, then carefully blow it out
• Move around the space in which you wish to clear the energy - be it your area, yourself, your crystal, your tarot cards, the possibilities are infinite!
• You want to allow the smoke to waft around the area you're smudging
• Allow the smoke from the stick to immerse the crystals and the area they are in 
• If you're smudging your room you'd want to take the Palo Santo stick into the corners of your space speaking your intention out loud. 
• As you do so, A rich smell will fill the air, bringing peace and clarity to the moment.
• Once you feel you have cleansed your space, place the Palo Santo stick in a fireproof bowl and allow the embers to burn out.

How to smoke:

You can smoke the smoke blend in any preferred way, the same way you'd smoke tobacco! You can put our smoke bongs in rolling papers, cigars, bongs, pipes, the possibilities are endless!

How to smudge:

Fill a heat proof incense bowl with at least 2" of sand, or natural ash. This will provide insulation for your burner. Charcoal can burn at up to 1500 degrees F. Using tongs or tweezers to hold the charcoal, light it from the bottom with a lighter and place in your burner. When the charcoal is glowing red hot and covered in grayish ash (usually about 5 minutes), add a pinch of your herbal blend. When the smoke begins to thin you can add more. Be careful to not add too much as it can smother the charcoal and put it out. The charcoal will typically stay hot enough to burn incense for 30 - 45 minutes.
